New York firefighters from two counties battled a blaze sparked by an apparent explosion at the United Orchids in Bullville along Route 17K Thursday night.
The blaze, which went to three alarms required assistance from 12 different departments located in both Orange and Ulster Counties to extinguish being placed under control.

Officials said a worker at the facility suffered severe burns and his in critical condition after being transported to Westchester Medical Center, according to News 12.

The Department of Environmental Conservation was called due to the fertilizer spill. No waterways were contaminated.
