Description: Chimney fire with extension to the 3rd floor of a 3-frame dwelling on the bay.

2101hrs- Reported structure fire. Multiple calls, caller reporting fire through the roof. 2810 responding on the air.
TRFD dispatching Station 27 (Ocean Beach), 28 (East Dover) Ladder, 26 (Toms River Co.2) RIT
Ocean County dispatching Sta. 44 Seaside Heights

2105hrs- PD on scene with an active chimney fire, evacuating the residence.

2107hrs- 4410 on location with fire from the chimney.

2109hrs- 2710 assuming command, operations to Ch. 2. E-2705 responding.

2110hrs- 4400 rpts active fire on the 3rd floor.

2118hrs- CMD rpts water on the fire, setting up aerial. TRFD holding with units on the air. 4411 to hold in quarters.

2125hrs- CMD rpts still have fire from the chimney.

Last couple Ortley jobs I caught, both were there.....not last night.

Not sure if Lavallette has the manpower to get out. Ocean Beach usually has enough staffing year round. Alot of guys from good North Jersey depts volunteer there.

As I understand it island side structure call, is both seaside heights and seaside park plus Lavallette and Ocean beach 3, that same address had structure fire in May of 2020, which all the above were notified and responded.
