Very large brush fire in South Blooming Grove Fire District, just outside Monroe N.Y. Fire has been burning since midday yesterday in a steep hilly area off Route 208. Most fire departments in Orange County N.Y. are operating or have operated, with Brush Fire Units, Quads, Tankers/pumpers.
N.Y. State Police drone was used to help determine the extent of area involved and direction of spread. Excellent fire management by Orange County Fire Coordinators and Chiefs. I am also a safety Officer in the Chester N.Y. Volunteer F.D.
