Incident Location: 1050 Washington Avenue
On the night of Wednesday, April 24th, 2024, the Plainview Fire Department along with mutual aid companies operated on the scene of a signal ten [working fire] at Temple Chaverim on Washington Avenue. The fire was in the office area of the temple and was knocked down with assistance from the sprinkler system. Firefighters stretched two hand lines and put one hand line into operation. The cause of the fire is under investigation and all fire department units were under the command of Plainview First Assistant Chief Cohen [9502]. (Text Credit K2M)
