Residential Water Emergencies

What would be dispatched to assist a citizen with a water problem in there residence? Is that a common run. Here in TN, only would send the ladder if doesn't involve the electrical box. The the whole box might be filled.

Does that include leaky toilets?  I remember handling only flooded basements (sometimes) and water coming through an electrical box.  Other than that, it was "call a plumber/roofer".

You get one Ladder on a water leak. Not suppose to be for a leaky item, such as a toliet.

Should be water coming in from above / Flooded basement.
However many times the source maybe a leaky tolit.  Or in a recent case a washer which drained onto the apartment floor, because they could care less.
