What are (If any) the spares for the Foam, Brush Fire, TSU, and Purple K units? Thanks in advance

There is a Tsu spare, not sure about the others.

There is no spare for a foam unit , when it breaks down the unit will go out of service.

Arn't they due to update the Foam Units to the '98 Seagrave's that are being replaced by the new Marauder II's??

It'll be sad to see the end of the Macks

I didn't hear that , but that would be interesting and yes it will be sad to see the end of the macks. Also , will they put a new body on the '98 Seagraves like the ones on the macks now ?

Im sure i read that on here plus would make sence as the Macks are '80's rigs. Although we here in Ireland have a rig still running on the front line from the '60's

I could have sworn i heard it here that fdny was looking into buying engines without pumps to use for foam units.

I thought I remembered the same thing so I did some searching and here's what I found: http://nycfire.net/forums/index.php/topic,1475.msg3273.html#msg3273 (about halfway down the page) it was in 2008 so obviously the plans probably changed.
