Does St Vincents still provide EMS/Paramedic ambulance cover in Manhattan. In the FDNY operational reference i read that they povided a number of ambulances in Midtown and Times Square, as well as downtown in the villages.

I read on the web thatSt Vincents had closed a Horpital in Midtown. If St Vinnies doesnt provide the Midtown and Times Square EMS ambulance cover is it now left to the FDNY EMS to provide the cover or another EMS provider?

Thanks

FDNY EMS opened the new "Midtown West," Station 7, at 512 West 23rd Street, Manhattan, October 10.  Units were reassigned from nearby stations and included four BLS, four ALS, and one Conditions supervisor.

There were many hospitals closed in Manhattan
North General
Cabrini
St Vincent's
St Claires became St. Vincents Midtown and then closed.
Beth Israel North Division

FDNY Took over most but some other hospitals expanded units
