Pierce Quantums are the absolute worst, not only horrible looking; also an overpriced piece of junk. The FWD tower was pretty bad too.

Since Quantums were mentioned, I'll go out on a limb and say this topic isn't restricted to FDNY.  In that case, my vote for the ugliest NEW apparatus goes to the Spartan Furion:

Since Quantums were mentioned, I'll go out on a limb and say this topic isn't restricted to FDNY.  In that case, my vote for the ugliest NEW apparatus goes to the Spartan Furion:

Kind of looks like a Chrysler 300 ran into a fire truck and this was the result!  It definitely qualifies as being the ugliest.  Is it a prototype or in production?  It makes the Quantum look beautiful!

The Spartan Furion is in production (can you believe it ??? ??? ??? ???).  Miami-Dade FD has ordered several, and has 2 in service at Rescues 2&3 (ambulances, I believe).  Check out the chassis at:
