From your description, sounds like the driver knew just where to go for max. results.

Any reason why CMD10,30,10C,30C all were dispatched? and what is CFI1?

anyone know if there is an audio recording of TFS response to this?

CMD10 and CMD10c are the same unit.  The 10c is a CAD designation.  Same goes for CMD30 amd CMD30c. Both command units responded due to the size of the incident and to accommodate not only fire personnel but many other command officers from the other responding agencies.
All members who responded were required to fill out witness statements that the police required. The command units could have been used as an area go complete these statements. Some units were on scene for up to 9hrs before the police would release them.

CFI1 is the chief fire investigator.

Fair enough, I thought the c designated a spare unit was being used or something like that. Thanks for the clarification
