passed the them about 10 minutes before the job came in which was around 1130 pm. Fire was on the 37th floor with tons of aptments calling up that they are in panic mode. I just had gotten home and since it would have been a 20 plus block jog fir me to get there i decided not to buff it. But did this escalate to more than the 10-77 as i was hearing fd units screeching up the concourse even an hour after the 10-75 was given. I know they werent relocators cause ladder 55 came in quiet when they were heading to ladder 37.

Just after this fire went U/C, There was an A/Hs heavy fire on the 2nd floor of a 6 story OMD on W 183rd & Andrews Ave Box 4797. Special units were heading from the 10-77 to the 10-75, THEN

BC-27 picking up from the previous 10-77 fire reported fire showing again from the 38th floor (floor above from the previous fire 1 hour prior) & requested the 10-75 & eventually the 10-77 back to the scene. So all the special units heading to the 183rd job had to turn around & go back.

This probably hasn't been mentioned since this should have been posted to the appropriate borough.  The Brooklyn 2nd, I am surprised also.  Did you look under Brooklyn?

Does anybody have a rundown or pics of either box - if something is not posted by tomorrow I will try to do a summary from the archive tapes -I listened to some of the tape earlier and portions were garbled. Any help would be appreciated. There was a lot going on - there was an accident on the Deegan that L46 was on - also I think L52 was on box 3737

Anybody have any idea how often this type of situation where a fire is declared under control and recurs- secondary searches are all negative etc? Also what type of investigation will be conducted (if any)now that this event occurred - and I don't mean for punitive reasons but learning to mitigate against future episodes of this nature. I would imagine DC7 can't be too happy with this occurring on his watch.

Does anyone have the run down of units for Box 75-4797?  Rumor has it a detail to Ladder 54 from Ladder 59 made the grab.
