Today the response to box 388 @Washington Pl. & Greene St. would be E33, Sq18, E24, TL9, L3, BC6. I know that back in 1911 Ladder 20 was the 1st due truck coming from 155 Mercer St. Back then Ladder 9 was not with E33 at Great Jones St. but further south & east on Elizabeth St. off Prince St. Looking at one of my old 1907 street maps it looks like E33, E72, E13, & either E18 or E25 as 4th due, L20, L3 (back then it was 4 engines and 2 trucks in that part of Manhattan). Many companies that responded to this fire were double companies on March 25, 1911 like Engines: 5, 7, 16, 18, 20, 26, 27, 30*(3 sections), 31, 33, 72 and Ladders 5 , 8 & 20.
