Taking a look through the wiki FDNY site and noticed under retired trucks ST17001 former 145?? and ST16001 former 114 were retired? We?re these trucks ever assigned to other companies and then reassigned? Currently showing ST16001 assigned to 7 and ST17001 assigned to 127? Or is this just someone posting wrong info?

Exactly, that?s what was most confusing about the posted info.

The Seagrave 75 foot tower ladder assignments for the prior two years were:

ST16001 to L7 on 12/29/16
ST16002 to L155 on 1/25/17
ST16003 to L54 on 1/12/17
ST16004 to L114 0n 2/3/17
ST16005 to L127 on 5/22/17
ST17001 to L17 on 3/15/17
ST17002 to L120 on 9/25/17.

An additional 75 foot Seagrave tower ladder is on order and will be assigned to Ladder 164 when delivered. None of the seven listed have been reassigned.

Data obtained and verified from the George Mand Library at the FDNY Fire Academy.
