Goodwill Fire Co 1, Jacobus, PA bought and refurbished two FDNY ALFs

A red ALF former E 222 became their 18-2 (sixth and seventh photos)

A lime green ALF former E 65 became their 18-1 (eleventh and twelfth photos)

Looks like they did a good job on the refurb, minus the color & the rim covers.

The refit of the unit The designate 18-2 was certainly a very well done and very extensive.  It's probably one of the few or maybe the only engine of that vintage with a raised roof and the high side compartments.  I certainly do agree about the color choice however.
