For what it's worth.....

Back in the day (1977), a good friend and I bought a 1950 L Model Mack at a municipal auction (originally Engine Company 4 of the Memphis Fire Department). Although we were both heteronormative, binary males, we were shocked to learn that the English language term fire truck was actually code for " Chick Magnet". I'll spare everyone the stories.

When this dust-up goes to the office, that's the way I would play it.

" Chief, Chief...I'm pretty sure we told them to get off the rig at least once....maybe. I don't know what else we could have done!"
