1209hrs- Verbal from a Medic unit of a structure fire.

1213hrs- CMD onlocation rpts working fire, 2nd Alarm transmitted. M/A Vails Gate for FAST and Tower Ladder.

1217hrs- Rpts of people trapped.

1224hrs- CMD transmitting 3rd Alarm. Rpts of firefighter down.

1230hrs- M/A (4) additional ambulances. M/A additional FAST (Woodbury R-525).

1241hrs- M/A Maybrook Tanker to scene. Co's setting up drafting op's.

1250hrs- M/A additional FAST, (2) Engines to scene. Walden to cover Maybrook. M/A City of Newburgh for FAST.

1253hrs- 4th Alarm transmitted.

1330hrs- Plattekill to cover Vails Gate. Greenwood Lake to cover South Blooming Grove and Monroe.

1335hrs- Exterior op's ATT, Tower Ladder going I/S.

1500hrs- CMD rpts fire K/D. 
 
Past this building on the way home tonight. Completely gutted by the fire. Roof is gone.

Washingtonville NY 4 Alarm Fire Main Street

I was one of the first on scene and arrived to find heavy smoke PUSHING from the first through the third floor on sides 1 and 3. The guys from my department put forth a tremendous effort, but the end result was a loss of the fire building and exposure 4. There were quite a few "hairy" moments for guys operating on the interior.
