Just a heads up since people are always seem to be looking for one, there is a copy up for bid on Ebay.

I already have one otherwise I would grab it.

It's a great book and I've seen it go for over $300.00

Go to motorbooks.com and search the site: transportation/emergency vehicles/ There are several recent books by Mr McCall, including aerial apparatus, apparatus manufacturers, and his most rent book, apparatus of the 50's.
 
This was a bogus sell. Amazon has it for 295.00 no one is selling it for 20.00 and change. Make sure anyone should check their security providers.
 
There were two (2) separate "Wheels Of The Bravest" first one was copywrited in 1984 titled "Wheels Of The Bravest,A History Of FDNY Fire Apparatus 1865-1982
The second is all the same title except for the Years which  on the second book were 1865-2002.I don't remember when it was copywrited as I still have it in Plastic but I think around 2003 or 2004 and both editions have different covers
 
Sorry 4 the delay, book posted had 6, six, rigs on the cover. My copy has 1 rig, Sat-1? on cover. Just want to protect my brothers on the we, the  Best Of The Best.

Grumpy, you have the original edition,The second one has the six rigs.      :)
