This is not Norwood. Villa Avenue is the Bedford Park neighborhood. Norwood is across Mosholu Parkway.

And when I was a kid nobody even referred to that area as Norwood. It just didn't exist. Norwood did appear in real estate ads in the late 1800s but the name disappeared. Williamsbridge, as in the Reservoir and later the Oval, replaced it. The name Norwood was resurrected in the 1980s.
