Air India Boeing 787 Dreamliner crashes in India

Other sources are quoting a passenger aboard who may or may not have survived showing that there was no A/C, no seatback entertainment and his seat lights did not work pre-departure, pointing (allegedly) to electrical issues.

In the end, with the tail section surviving where the FDR and VDR are stored hopefully the reality will be uncovered soon. Horrible event for those aboard, on the ground and the 1st responders.

I just watched a yt video of an airline pilot. He pointed something out no one else has caught onto at least yet. The RAT or Ram Air Turbine was deployed in the grainy video that every news agency ran with. He's got the original and you can both see it and hear it as the plane goes by. And no noise from the engines. There's only 3 reasons it would deploy, and there dual engine failure, major electrical loss or major hydraulic loss. According to Capt Steve, the RAM, both visually and auditory, with the loud bang and the lights flashing in the cabin, points toward at the very least, a dual engine issue.

There's also a video from a passenger prior to takeoff talking about there being no air conditioning.

I havent seen or heard that one. This one i just added i just happened to stumble upon. My first thought was the plane was under power, but since he pointed a few things out, I've changed my mind.
