Okay guys we need some clarification here. Original box 3612 assignment

62 38 63 79
32 51 39(F) Bn 15

After that probably

97 48 66
37 56

Nolan Cart at Engine 92

So...

First do 62/32 out elsewhere? Then they return the quarters and operate a hand line from their rooftop?

79, 97, 48 All also initialy out elsewhere?

92 out also so the next nearest rail cart is 58 from Harlem?

Just asking...

I remember as a kid a rubbish track fire along the old 3rd Avenue EL on Webster Avenue. E79 out, L37 responds alone. By coincidence,

Box 7- 3512.

L37 stretched a length of hose they carried in a bed under the aerial ladder and hooked directly to a hydrant on Webster at 199th Street. The hydrant pressure was sufficient to reach the tracks from underneath. They cranked up the old wooden aerial and my uncle, 37s chauffeur, and two other guys went up with a can to make sure it was out.

Now we get six engines, four trucks and a partridge in a pear tree...

I'm all for safety first but times sure do change.
