Quick question, for this one street in the Bronx which is only accessible by going into Pelham, who responds FDNY or Pelham fire?
Who is first due 66/61?Box 4508 Park Dr & Peace St is FDNY
Box 4470 Park Dr & Oak Ln is FDNY
So yes I believe FDNY could be a dual box too
Where is this print out available?

Not to hijack the thread, I was actually shocked when I heard about the staffing in Pelham Manor. It’s not like the town is financially strapped so I can’t understand why they would opt for the current staffing model and continue to roll the dice hoping that nothing bad happens.I believe Pelham Manor responds as well and is dispatched by 60 Control. PMFD has been first due to several jobs over the years on that block. Quite the contrast to have the PMFD respond with 2 & 1 and a total of 4 guys on duty then being backed up by the FDNY.

Yeah but how large a department would you expect a village with a population of only 5,700 and just three pieces of apparatus to have? That's an example of why mutual aid is a critical element for Westchester communities. https://www.pelhammanor.gov/252/Pelham-Manor-Fire-ApparatusNot to hijack the thread, I was actually shocked when I heard about the staffing in Pelham Manor. I agree, mutual aid is a critical component. Regards to department size and equipment my uneducated opinion would be to get rid of the current three pieces of equipment. Get a Quint and staff it with the current Officer, Driver and 2 firefighters and look to put two additional firefighters on the Quint. This way when they show up they are fully capable of addressing life safety / fire conditions during the first few critical minutes. The Quint gives them operational options. I am sure someone here might have some better ideas but that’s where I would start.Yeah but how large a department would you expect a village with a population of only 5,700 and just three pieces of apparatus to have?
