It appears that all Broadcastify and Open MHz feeds are down now. Radio silence for a few days

I’ve done it before, collecting all the dregs in a bucket. I’ve also worked in a department that had a tanker with foam in a separate tank, ideal for departments that don’t do foam ops that much, you had to decant the foam into another flexible tank thing set up next to the tanker, it worked but...

Ok for now that’s good. I’m too far out of NYC to pick it up on the radio

Still a a bit hit and miss really. I don’t think the feeds are coming back as we knew them any time soon.

Encryption for the FDNY would be a PR disaster for the department. Anyone with any knowledge of the department’s fine history would understand this. The facility to move to an encrypted channel if needed for terror or security related incidents is a good idea, but… every borough, every rig? it...

Bronx & SI, Manhattan seams dead now, no Brooklyn or Queens. Open MHz still working, no Queens or CW1 though. I think maybe we all took the feeds for granted? Hopefully someone will get the feeds up and running again. I can’t bear to listen to that digital audio from other departments!

I believe it was an FDNY member that ran the Broadcastify feed, has he been told to remove it? Open Mhz feed for FDNY was really good until some comments about FDNY & Israel appeared alongside the feed, it mysteriously went down after that and has never been the same since it came back up. I...
