Here's a tickler for those who understand the old telegraph box circuits in the Bronx.

Because of their central location, E88/L38's assignment board had them go on the first alarm to boxes within 29xx, 30xx, 31xx, 32xx, 33xx, 34xx, 35xx, 46xx, 47xx, 48xx, 49xx.

That's more circuits than any other house in the borough.

Still true?
 
ENG*237 w/the exception of a few 100 boxes responds to basically 200..300 &..700 # boxes.
 
L176 in Bklyn responds to    7XX - 8XX - 9XX - 16XX - 17XX- 18XX -19XX -20XX
37XX - 39XX  Queens  40XX - 43XX
