4 engines - 2 Ladder -  Res 3  &  SQ 41  assigned on the box due to calls

2328 hrs  Batt 14 reports 10-75 and requests and additional engine & truck

L 19 Fast
Div 6

2330 hrs  Batt 14 reports using All Hands  2 L/S  1 line in operration

2339 hrs  Div 6 reports 2 lines in operation with possible extention

2349 hrs  Div 6 reports there are still a few hot spots  Fire Doubtful

0007 hrs  Div 6 reports secondary searches negative    Fire Under Control
 
I am sure this has been asked and answered:  on the "war years" card it is listed as 60R as the 3rd due engine on the 1st alarm.  What does the "R" indicate?

Wow, 73/42 were always there before 50/19 and with 50/19 moving further north you'd think it would at least
remain the same

...the "R" next to the 3rd due ENG meant that they no longer went to that box on ANY alarm ......they remained available for other boxes in the area.....in certain areas of NYC the Reserve ENG was replaced by a Squad which eventually all had Pumpers so there could still be 3 Pumpers on a box.
