Box 4950 was the box incident wasa for smoke issueing from water tunnell project at reservoir. First run was at 02:51 and after investigation it was determined that the on scene contractors working under ground would handle problem, not sure of what actually was causing smoke condition. E79,81 L-37,46 and Bn 27 operated. At 03:54 same box was transmitted for structural smoke in area, units found heavier smoke issueing from the northern vent house of water tunnel project, same units responded plus special units which I dont have. At one point in time there was a possibility of lowering members into tunnel to check out what was causing smoke, after a time the smoke disappated and units actually never entered tunnel. If anyone has more add to this but there was no Lehman college or any other school involved. A few months ago there was a drill at this site after a chlorine release happened, this is the Jerome Park Reservoir which is undergoing major work via tunnel project.
