MVA with multiple vehicles on fire & 1 DOA

B-13: We have 2 tractor trailers & a vehicle on fire - We need EMS - 00:34

B-13: We have (1) 10-45 code 1 from the vehicle - 00:36

B-13: Have 2 engine respond from Manhattan (E-67, 84) Bronx companies can't make it in - 00:37

B-13: Make it a 10-75 - 00:38

H&L-34 FAST

B-13: Have an engine respond on the University Ave. overpass & drop us a line (E-68) - 00:42

B-13: Have a Satellite unit respond - 00:49

D-6: We have 2 tractor trailers on fire, 1 is mostly extinguished - 2 L/S/O, 1 is being dropped down from University Ave. - 01:04

D-6: PWH - 01:25

Believe 46/27 were first due. E42 was assigned third due but was stuck in heavy traffic, hence the reason Batt 13 asked for two engines from Manhattan. Very chaotic situation.

6 foot piercing nozzles work great on trailer fires. Also foam at 1/4 or 1/2 % as a wetting/penetrating agent.
