Below is the setup of the Divisions and Battalions from the 1965 issue of WNYF:

Manahttan
Division 1: 1,2,4,5
Division 3: 6,7,8,9
Division 4: 10,11,12
Division 5: 13,16, 19(Bronx)

Bronx
Division 6: 3,14,17
Division 7: 15,18,20

Staten Isl.
Division 8: 21,22,23

Brooklyn
Division 10: 31,32,40,48
Division 11: 34,35,36
Division 12: 33,42,43,41
Division 15: 37,38,39,44

Queens
Division 13: 47,50,51
Division 14: 45,46,49

I imagine Div 16 must of been the quietest do to the area still having farms back then int he most eastern part of Queens.

Didn't know that, growing up in Brooklyn my parents and mostly "grandpa" would talk about Queens, eastern Queens mostly being open and farmland and undeveloped. I just assumed it was, then again grandpa has not left Brooklyn since like 1800 or something. My pops always stated that the cops that worked in Queens were avoiding real Police Work, excluding Queens South. 68jk09, thank you
