I mean, if you need to use airbags or something similar the Rescue, Squad, Tac and RB makes sense. The SB needs to be on sence to make sure no one is making the situation more unsafe for the Paitent or the FF's.

Same response to any type of pin job... Also considering that the average forklift is around 9,000 lbs (an SUV is just over 3000), the response seems warranted.

I disagree, the response seems totally warranted. Also.. if you dont need the special units you can easily turn them around.. better to be safe than sorry.

It's easier to cancel units already en route than to request them after you realize you need them.

Guess that’s the difference in NYC and Alabama. We’d generally handle that with an engine (maybe 2), a rescue and chief 🤷🏼‍♂️.
But, the more the merrier I suppose.
But like I said, seems a bit much.

Yep as stated above better to have too much coming than too little. You can always return them if not needed.
