Fire on the 5th floor of an 11 story 85x50 MD.

1455 - Bn. 18 - Transmit the box. We have fire in Apt. 502 that the sprinklers knocked down. Please transmit the box.

1456 - Bronx transmits the 10-75.

L-27 FAST - E-50 4th Engine

1458 - Bn. 18 - PWH - We don't need the 4th Engine. Going to use 3x2. We had a mattress fire in the kitchen of Apt. 502. No further extension. Duration 17 minutes.

1459 - Bn. 18 - Under Control - Duration 18 minutes.

Not sure, but E45/L58 might have missed this? - Heard them responding to a Box when L31 was taking up from 2910, which would explain L27 as FT & E50 as 4th due

Came in as an odor of gas

B18 gave All Hands/UC, no special units required

Mishear on dispatcher's end? another scenario could be that the box already got 3&2 for some reason, when the 18 wanted the box transmitted, dispatcher took it as 10-75

You also don't know if the dispatcher was getting quantity of calls
