Engine 23 Relocated to Engine 48 also, just heard them getting dispatched to ryer and 184 for fire alarms sounding.

Did E306 and BC52 go to the Bronx too? I heard E275 relocated to E 306 and BC50 to BC52. If not something else was up.

BTW E23 from 58th St to the Bronx is not your typical  relocation.

If I recall correctly, E23 was relocated to the Bronx fairly recently for another multiple.  The location and extent of this fire would have stripped the South and Central Bronx pretty good.  It even pulled units from Harlem, so going to midtown is probably the next move in the matrix.


Does anyone know why 42 truck wasn't on the initial ticket?  They should be 2nd due here.


Another note:  2 or the 4 engines on the 1st alarm were formerly properly staffed with 5 Fr.  Another fire with deaths and multiple firemen injured and burned.  Thanks Bloomberg.....

Live wires came down on the rear of 48 Truck and shocked two members.

More info on injuries...

A few of the brothers were burned on their hands.  More injury as a result of the "Blaze Fighter" gloves.  TAKE A MARK!

Guys took beating yesterday. I heard at least two maydays over fireground. Guys did a great job.

It was a hell of a job!!!!!  My company went on the 3rd alarm...........When we pulled up the place was still roaring!!!    Was on the back step for a change, and got to have some fun!    All companies there did a GREAT JOB!!!!!!!!!!
