FC s/c 3 more trucks.  They can be what ever you want. 1 will replace the fast truck. So have that one be local @09:14

Does anyone know the 3 S/C trucks?

Really. I’ve posted S/C probably adleast in 95% of my Post and not one person has commented. S/C means special call.

Um, me thinks he was asking Which Trucks were s/c ... ?

TL-22 TL-45 L-129 Act. 19

It went in order. The first 2 they wanted and the 3 more after that. Right in order 1 of which was the fast truck.  Should be easy to put 2&2 together. Plus at the top it says special called units

Kudos to Signal73 for the detailed rundown ?

Couple of questions for the experts:
1) How come the large number of units special called at 09:04 was not considered a 6th alarm? I thought that they may have been for relief, but didn't hear it on the radio feed.

2) Do cars 11 & up have specific duties at the fire scene? Some are obvious (Safety, Rescue, Marshall, Medic, Chaplain), but others are not.

Thanks

Being that those SC's was after the PWH, a 6th alarm may not have been required.

As anyone seen the Canteen's at any of the multiples?  I was just wondering if the member's are getting hot drinks or "meals"?

Don't know of any canteens serving FDNY, but 2 RAC units were on scene, RAC3 with the 2nd and RAC4 was special called just before the 5th . . . see the rundown.

That's a shame, it used two be that the members got hot drinks, soups etc. from organizational canteens at most all multiples 3rd alarm and up, and other major incidents.
I may be wrong, but I dont think the RAC units are able to support/supply hot beverages.

The RAC Units did supply hot chocolate but more importantly still supply Gatorade which certainly does help giving an energy  boost to help hydrate & replace lost electrolytes......aside from that i always felt there should be "at least" one RAC in each DIV & located close to the area of most occurrences .. today their Rigs are more formidable but back when started they were simpler & served the mission ...a Light Duty FF (of which there are plenty at any given time) & a Spare Suburban & some insulated jugs & cups...while coffee & soup etc were comfort liquids the values of an energy drink like gatorade does surpass them.

Once the Salvation Army canteen was pulled out of Eng 45 I believe they scratched the whole program.  I think it was 4th alarms and greater.  Worst coffee on the planet, but you could always find an extra ECC if needed ??

I should know, but ECC??.  Any idea what year the canteen was pulled out of Eng. 45 and why?  I know there were a great many changes (and not for the better) after 9/11.
