After a fire in the Fieldston section of Riverdale, the water mains were grossly undersized, Satellite 2 was assigned on any 10-75 in the Riverdale section. The mains were replaced but the assignment hasn’t changed for 72 and satellite as far as I know.

Like again a relocator sent in on a request for an extra unit .... L19 10-8 acting 52 goes into the fire right after getting in the area once again leaving a large area north of the fire up to the city line unprotected which was the reason a relocator was sent. The 52's are a must-fill correct? Or just the engine? Not that alot happens up that way but still...

Both Engine and Ladder 52 are a must fill if they are out of service 30 minutes or longer. 63/39 70/53 also are considered must fill units too. Not sure if there are more in the Bronx. There was a list that showed must fills in all boroughs

I agree with that. the relocator was sent to an ongoing escalating incident in their coverage area, isn't that considered protection?
