75' Tower Ladders

Drove by the dealer today and I think I saw ladder 124 there. Anybody know if their truck is OOS? Also saw ladder 153 there.

Is it just me, or does it look like the buckets stick out a bit off the back of these rigs??

It does a tiny bit, maybe slightly more than the '06 Scopes.

Does the MII cab, in both the engine and TL format have an extra seat in the cab? I understood that all FDNY apparatus, excluding the rescues, had 6 crew seating.

There is onll room for a total of 6. 2 front 4 rear.

Ladder 162 is in East Brunswick now...if the deliveries are in order, this should be the 12th piece of the order?

77 was still there when I last past it on June 21. The truck was in the shop visible from the road, but was covered in tarp.

Just drove by the dealer today and 77 was in the shop. Ladder 50 was parked in back, and engine 260 was there for service.

It has been a couple of months since anything has been delivered to the FDNY or put into service. They were stacking up on at the dealer. I drove by today and noticed that there didn't seem to be that many sitting outside. Either we will finally be getting news of FDNY taking delivery and putting into service or they were just all in the shop. Ladders 15, 35, and 41 are there. Didn't see 23, 50, or 77 (the next three to be delivered).

Quick note: 41 had to be one of the most recent to hit the dealer. It still had paper covering the FDNY, patch, and word "FIRE"

Saw Ladder 50's new rig Jersey-bound on the Gowanus near 92nd st. about 4p.m. today...back to the dealer!!!

FDNY can't catch a break with these things. They seem to have fallen way off the already late delivery schedule. I really was hoping that 77 would have gone into service by sometime in late July the latest. I'm going to be back at rutgers for another semester and I'll be around the dealer as it is just off rt18. I'll keep my eyes and ears open.

Let's add 21 to the list of units back at the dealer. I saw it yesterday morning when I passed the dealer on my detour around route 18 rush hour traffic.

Other units I was able to make out: 41, 31 (had to be a recent arrival), 50. There are A LOT of them sitting at the dealer along with a batch of 2010 Marauder II Pumpers.

142 had a problem with the rear axels so I was told that they all could go back to check if they all have the same issue
