just saw the new 77 going up my street so i think its safe to say that the lastest batch has been delivered
You live on a very steep hill so they were probably making sure it could make the climb up to Grymes Hill.mercurygrandmarquis1 said:just saw the new 77 going up my street so i think its safe to say that the lastest batch has been delivered
that would explain why 77's old truck just drove by. im no expert but the new 77 climbed the hill pretty wellguitarman314 said:You live on a very steep hill so they were probably making sure it could make the climb up to Grymes Hill.mercurygrandmarquis1 said:just saw the new 77 going up my street so i think its safe to say that the lastest batch has been delivered![]()

they have been doing that gradually over the past 2 or 3 years. Ladder 77's 1998 rig has FDNY instead of FIRE.stvfcff1025 said:Len90 said:Quick note: 41 had to be one of the most recent to hit the dealer. It still had paper covering the FDNY, patch, and word "FIRE"
The word "FIRE" has been changed with "FDNY" on the side of all the new rigs. Plus Engine 314 had it done to their rig
I guess he's special! ;DIRISH said:Also all the NEW B/C's GMC's have FDNY instead of FIRE. Although B/C 22 has "Chief 22nd Battalion" instead of FDNY
Wow I never realized that. Thanks for posting that. I guess that would explain why that is covered up now upon delivery.stvfcff1025 said:Len90 said:Quick note: 41 had to be one of the most recent to hit the dealer. It still had paper covering the FDNY, patch, and word "FIRE"

I dont get how Seagrave builds these rigs and they almost always have things go wrong right away. Is it any wonder that the FDNY has gone in another direction with the new rearmounts?
