At the 31:00 point in the TheMajestirium's video you see Rescue 1's officer.  He says it is the captain of R1 but video is not in focus so the helmet and face isn't clear but the name on the coat clearly says Morris.  Is that a different Morris than the one that was the captain of R1 who reportedly recently retired?

The current Capt. of Rescue 1 is Rex Morris Jr. His father, Rex Sr. recently retired as the Capt.

I obviously do not know either of them other than reputation of the father but I would think that's got to me a tough situation for the son: not only do you have to replace such an iconic figure but do it as his kid.  Just trying to forge you're own identity and reputation other than being "Captain Morris' kid" is, I would think, an uphill battle...as it would be in any similar situation (Steinbrenners, etc.)

Judging from recent Medal Day books Captain Morris Jr is doing a pretty good job of establishing his own identity in the FDNY.

Capt Morris jr. Has his own impressive reputation and is not living on the coat tails of his father
