Fire Location: 8 Reading LN, Bethpage, NY
The Bethpage Fire Department was called to a reported house fire on Reading Lane about 14:20 on June 13, 2026. Chief of Department Castellano was the first to respond and was told there was an Ex-Captain on scene reporting an attic fire, and a working fire was transmitted. Engine 9077 was first due and dropped two lines at the house, and went fire to hydrant. Ladder 4 was the first Truck on scene. The fire was quickly knocked down and was brought under control within 30 minutes. All searches were negative and the cause of the fire is under investigation. Mutual aid to the scene was provided by the South Farmingdale Fire Department for a FAST Truck, the Farmingdale Fire Department for a Working Truck, and the North Massapequa Fire Department for an Engine.
