Boston Fire Department is on the scene of a Level 3 Haz-Mat @ 77 Louis Pasteur Ave in the Longwood Medical Center complex. Level 3 is the highest you can get, requiring evacuation of the area and Haz-Mat units wearing protective gear. Incident appears to be on the 10th floor.

Please be patient with me, I am working off fireground communications. Floors 7 and 9 are clear, decon is floor 8. It sounds like all units were really suited-up. They are stating un its will be on site for another hour. I know the decon team is E-22-33-53, L15-16. Not all at once, one co at a time. Seems to be wrapping up, E-33/L-15 are last Haz-Mat units to be used, 2 members from each company as part of Haz-Mat. I guess BFD has dedicated H/M units, E-22-33-53,L15-16. 33/15 are downtown, 53/16 are at the other end of Boston, 22 is close to 33 but they lost their truck co L-13 due to stupidity. Busy company, lots or runs, plus a mutual aid truck to almost everywhere.

Broken bottles of acetic acid and hydrochloric acid - a doctor in lab was moving some bottles in a 10th floor lab. 3 bottles fell off of a shelf and broke. She was wearing protective suit.
