Fire was struck out @9:25. Building was an irregular shaped building one section was 4 stories, another section was three stories and the final section was 2 stories. Arriving companies found heavy fire in the middle section. Firefighters have been hampered by several wall collapses as well as a water tower. Building integrity is severely comprimised. GG

Alarm times courtesy radioman 911. Interested in Chicagoland hit his site, covers a lot of Chicagoland, have to sort out all the transmissions. 2-11 @ 0243 by 2-2-2, Deaputy for district 2. 3-11 @ 0321 by 2-1-23 (?), 4-11 @ 0356 by 2-1-9 (?) a 5-11 @ 0437 by 2-1-9. Somewhere in all this was a Haz-Mat call. Building was a multi-use building, artists workshops, landscapers, who knows what else. GG

Steve  Redick has published 3 awesome books on rigs at work and chicago fire dept. He works off a site that is not a common site but does work. The titles are  (1) Chicago Fire Rigs @ Work, (2) Suburban Chicago Fire rigs @ work. Another good book is Chicago Fire Department by Gordon Nord. There is another book on CFD houses. Guys my windows were closed but if you want some great books go to Blurb.com. Guys I understand I am not as good as you are, I just want to add my two cents.

Reddick has another book of classic CFD unit working, Classic CFD rigs. Just as much heavy fire as BFD and FDNY. He is good, I know him but I was a puppy chasing rigs/fires.
