Description Of Incident: Companies o/s reporting heavy smoke showing from a 2-story brick mixed-occupancy building w/exposure problems and 1 victim trapped. Victim removed by companies and PD via the rear. Shelton FD Engine 53 S/C for R.I.T. Shelton FD Tower 7 S/C. FD 1(Chief of Department) o/s transmitting a 2nd Alarm. 2 L/S/O's w/quick k/d. Truck Companies opening up. Fire contained to apartment of origin. Originally reported as a structure fire w/victims trapped. Two victims transported by DEMS to Griffin Hospital for minor injuries.
