They are the old EMS PRUs. They gave these to Rescue Batt, Safety Batt, 2 of them to Command Tactical and was supposed to go to Hazmat Batt


Safety Battalion needed it to access things. The rescue battalion doesn’t carry that much but they plan on adding things to it

Its just for the extra space that may be required on the vehicles. Wouldn't be surprised to see Battalions or Divisions getting them in the future if the space in the bay permitted.

Sorta feel like HMB would’ve benefited a little more than the RB. Also, 2 to CTU? 1 as a spare possibly? Or did they sack the van

Well, there is a rescue company, collapse rescue, haz-mat 1 and second piece, rebreather, tcu, Decon shower unit, decon support, Mobil command center, big marine boat and Manhattan engine company. So there is 11 right there and any other special units New York may have.
