Contrary to what the Daily News wrote; This was NOT E36's "long time" house. Rather, it was Ladder 14's house! E36's old home was at 1849 Park Ave. (btwn 126 & 127) and was only at 120 E. 125th St. for a few years after L14 moved to their present location.

Chief, I remember hearing that that firehouse on 125th St. was rented to the city for $1 a yr as long as it remained a firehouse and the reason they probably moved E36 in there after L14 moved to the new house, I really don't know what transpired but I do know this to be true(heard from Oldtimers at The Bell Club)
