-If a Marine unit is put to work at a land based incident. The nearest available Satellite Unit with their associated Engine Company is to be special called

-If only 1 Marine company is able to be in service to due incident(s) Marine 6 is to be covered.

Reserved Marine Companies
-Marine 2, 5, & 7 are the Reserved Marine Units. They may be staffed at anytime as they are fully equip and ready to go.
-They may be put into service anytime a Marine Unit(s) are seriously unavailable.
-Maritime Support Units
*Marine Scuba Unit (MS01) is a 33 Foot Safe boat. The bow can drop down to help with loading & unloading or gear & personnel during beach operations.
*Marine Tactical Unit (MT01) is a 4WD Vehicle similar to a Tactical Support Unit. They concentrate on marine specific incidents & emergencies.
Items such as: Hose appliances & connections, piercing nozzles, couplings, & nozzles. They also carry adaptors for surrounding departments in NJ & Long Island, as well as International Shore Connections. Airbags, Torches & Lights. Partner/Chain saw, Holmatro Rescue Tools, & Battery operated tools. Generator & tools used for underwater operations. Zodiac inflatable boat. Dewatering Operations. A tent
