Rheingold on Kent Avenue in Brooklyn also. If you recall the movie, Bridge on the river Kwai, the tune from that movie..Colonel Bogey March.. was made into a Rheingold commercial. And of course, there was Knickerbocker beer, made on the upper east side of Manhattan.

My beer is Rheingold Extra Dry,
Rheingold, the beer more millions buy.
They know -
Just like we all know -
Each taste of Rheingold is pleasantly dry.

And wasn't Schaffer "The One Beer to Have When You're Having More Than One"?

Another American and New York-made beer is Brooklyn Lager, made by the microbrewery, Brooklyn Brewery in Williamsburg.

I think this has been on before but while we're on the subject, Brooklyn has box 813 and in the war years you would be told by the dispatcher to take in the beer box at Knickerbocker and Schaeffer.

Correct on the "beer box".....also 866 would sometime come over the voice alarm (in a deep mans voice) "RALPH" & (then in a girly voice) "MARION".
