Come & join us this Tuesday night, 01 July at 1930 Hrs. for the monthly Zoom meeting. The subject will be a 50 year review of the Bureau of Training.

For the members who attended this Zoom Meeting Tuesday July 1st, I'm sure everyone would agree that it was an EXCELLENT PRESENTATION of the FDNY Training Academy.

The training facility has grown with numerous additions including new classroom design, confined space training, a full-sized cargo ship, a full-sized passenger airplane - I believe donated by Jet Blue Airlines, even a weather station similar to what the U.S. Military uses as geared to provide weather conditions for the amount of outside training activity to take place.

The presenter of the program was FDNY Lt Tom Bendick who shared his knowledge and experience being assigned to FDNYs Rock

No other Training Facility in the entire country can compare.
The FDNYs Training Academy "The Rock" has it all

What an outstanding presentation. I enjoyed it thoroughly. Amazing to see its growth and evolution from a good fire academy to a world class academy.
