Any Baby Boomers out there remember Field Comm #2. I believe it was closed down during the 1970s budget crises. FC2 covered Brooklyn, Queens and SI. FC#1 covered Manhatten and The Bronx. Anybody remember whos quarters they were in ???

i think they were at eng 259 fc 2 was disbanded in 74

According to a FDNY Unit Location chart from October 1976 Field Comm was located at E259 ;D

when was the signal 10-30 eliminated?

Not sure about the 10-30. Field Comm 2 is in service as a back up Field Comm out of E-233. It's the little sprinter van.
