On the back step over the rear camera and Seagrave label it looks like a small compartment under the fourth part of the hose bed. Is it a compartment and what is it for?

Some ENGs had originally made the slot for a Backboard under the Hose load out of wood then the manufacturers started to add them during new production.

Depends what the shops mechanic finds while going thru the 20+ page checklist. First the radio gets installed and second it gets programed. Then it goes back to the shops...
