New Seagraves

They normally do. As per contract certain amount of Apparatus must be delivered by certain dates.
The new 146 & 33 will go back to NJ to have stripping , numbers ect completed.

They do not come lettered anymore. All lettering is applied locally now.

Where were those last three photos taken? To me, it looks to be around 52nd Road off of 58th street in Woodside/Maspeth.

The other night l went out to have dinner with my buddy ( My Rabbi ).... A found out that Izzy no longer is in the print shop , he retired. When a girl one night went thru a traffic light she hit the front and side. Izzy took pics of the rig before going to the body shop. When it came back he put all new numbers and stripping. He also did the 9- 11-01 that was above the grill.

He also told me a few years ago there was a woman that worked there putting on all the doodads since it came in naked

Total ladders is 55 I believe.
Engines all 2008, 2009 and 2010 will be replaced. Next batch will be 2013 which are not ordered yet….

Just engines getting the diamond plate above the bumper? Is it there to protect the paint since there's a hookup on the bumper?
