On Behalf of the members of E92/TL 44/B17, & every Johnny that has ever had the honor to work with him, we want to wish Captain Steve Luisi, TL-44, nothing but the best of luck in his retirement. He will be retiring today after serving 43 1/2 years in the #FDNY. The city & the job is losing one of the most respected guys to ever wear a FDNY front piece. He is a true legend & will be missed throughout the job. Steve got assigned to E254 out of probie school, 290
Engine, then spent 6 years in 103 truck before being promoted & working in 111 truck in Brooklyn as a Lt. Steve spent the last 17 years as the captain of Ladder 44 in the Bronx. Best of luck in your retirement Capt & thank you for sharing all of your knowledge in the kitchen & fire floor.

The fact that during your 43 1/2 years you spent time in Ladder 103, Ladder 111, and Ladder 44.
That certainly speaks for itself.
