Here we go again with the "Aides" for EMS Conditions. Yep, right.
 
I had to replace the impeller shaft bushing on my Toro 826 today. Did the pre-storm warm, up Thursday and the rattle started. Luckily, LI Power Equipment had all the parts. $40.00 and 2 hours later I'm ready. We're looking at 10+ inches here in eastern Nassau County.
 
Updated amount for my area is 19+ inches with a possibility of 32 inches as per the National Weather Service. Don't know if this is AI or old fashioned forecasting.
 
Having tracked weather for many, many years. Haven't seen anything like this in a long long time, maybe ever. Some places I'm hearing make as much as 3 ft maybe more especially with the drifts.

Heard something about maybe even seaside board while cracking under the weight of the snow.

Some people are this could be historic. And if it's safe, clear your hydrants!
 
I updated staffing and special units for today. RRVs are back in for Cold Calls 🤷‍♂️ Some Stuff started 9x, high axels 1600, and 6x tonight. Thawing units 9x Monday. With 2 feet possible for Staten Island I am surprised no BFUs but I guess we will see.
