Awesome shots truck4!

What I don't understand, is how the YFD sees using a Ladder Co. in the place of a Safety Officer? If one member of the company was the Safety Officer, what function would the rest of the crew of that company perform at the fire scene? Also, wouldn't it be more practical to use a callback Battalion Chief or a Chief's Aide as a Safety Officer, and keep the company in service in case it is needed elsewhere? But, maybe I'm mistaken, and I'm sure either way, the YFD has a reason for doing what they do.

This is due to the budget cut of the Safety Division....Both BCs are running the job, and Safety is turned over to a Captain.
