What is a "clorox rope bottle"?  The answer is probably very obvious but I can't think of it.

As opposed to a stretch with the rope in an old Crisco oil bottle, which is an entirely different evolution.  ;) ;) ;)

Photo # 79 what's the story with the Orange front piece, Red stripes & Yellow footwear
You beat me to it Mike. I was just about to question the same thing. On the helmet there is a piece of duct tape with what looks like "B22."

Here are 2 from 6 days ago in Brooklyn.  Could he be a Battalion Chiefs Aide?  In both photos, he is with a Chief.

What is the pipe with the double smooth bore nozzles for?

Those are probies who are still in the academy doing their week in the field
Yes the orange Fronts are probys doing their week in the field but the orange stripe on the gear may also be condemmed gear that is not supposed to be worn inside the IDLH just as the one week probys are not allowed.

Cockloft Nozzle l believe ....

''5 L/S, 4 Operating including Cockloft nozzle. Trench cut made, fire contained to B Wing as of right now.''

The tape on the Probies gear is for the Group they are in.  One group has Blue the other has RED
